Douglas man admits part in drug smuggling operation

A Douglas man who’s admitted his part in a plan to smuggle £144,000 of drugs to the Island has been committed to the court of General Gaol Delivery.

28 year old Darren Noel Dooley has appeared before Douglas.

Dooley who’s serving a jail term at Jurby prison, admitted being unlawfully concerned in the supply of cannabis between August and October 2017 and conspiracy to produce the drug last April.

He will appear at the Court of General Gaol Delivery on March 5th.
