Watchdog welcomes Flybe purchase

A passenger watchdog says the Flybe sale is good news for the Isle of Man.

The company has been bought by Virgin Atlantic and the Stobart Group for £2.2 million.

The company put itself up for sale last October following profit warnings and concerns over Brexit.

TravelWatch says the move will be good for the island.

The sale ends speculation over the future of the airline which flies several key routes from the Isle of Man.
