WW2 shells to be removed from Willaston garden tomorrow
The discovery of old ordnance in a garden in Willaston has been identified by explosive experts.
The items are thought to be a couple of old small WW2 shells.
They will be removed tomorrow by the Ministry of Defence.
A small section of Fenella Avenue between Watterson Lane and Keppel Road will remain closed.
The small number of houses around the site were empty for construction purposes .
Police will be on scene overnight and there is no danger to the Public in the area.
