Refurb for community facility
A community hall in the west of the Island is being refurbished and modernised after being awarded lottery funding.
The funding of £20,000 from the Manx Lottery Trust will be used to install heating throughout St Johns Church Community Hall, refurbish the kitchen, create ramp access and new doors and provide a disabled toilet and baby change unit.
Access for people with limited mobility and disabilities will also be provided during the renovation of the building, alongside the creation of extra cupboard space, a link between meeting rooms and a sound proof screen.
