Coastguard, police give safety advice to boat crew
Three young sailors were spoken to by police and coastguard crews after travelling around Peel without lights or life jackets.
The small unlit boat was spotted just off Peel on Friday night, going around in a manner that caused concern.
Officers from Peel police and the coastguard spoke to the young crew, giving them advice on safety at sea and helping them tie the boat up.
The coastguard team returned to the station just over 90 minutes after being called out.
