Stricken vessel towed to Peel Harbour

Peel lifeboat towed a vessel carrying three people to safety after it suffered a total electrical failure.

The crew was launched after the 18-metre cruiser broke down four miles north west of Peel on Sunday evening.

After ensuring everyone on board was safe, the lifeboat team established a tow and brought the vessel to Peel Harbour.

Peel RNLI is urging anyone taking their boat out during the nice weather to prepare fully before taking to the sea and ensure they have a way to call for help.
