Poice to take robust stance at festival

Police are warning officers won't tolerate underage drinking or poor behaviour at this weekend's Castletown Festival.

The Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team says it will take a robust stance to any issues involving alcohol during Saturday's festival.

The Constabulary wants the event to be a safe family festival, so says underage drinking won't be tolerated at or near the festivities.

Last year, the police described the festival as the Island's most heavily-policed event outside the TT.
