Lintin responding well following Southern 100 crash

The team of injured road racer Ivan Lintin insist they remain optimistic.

The 33-year-old was left in a critical condition following an incident at the Southern 100 earlier this month.

Dafabet Devitt Racing confirmed Lintin is still in critical care, but that the level of care isn't as intense as it was a week ago, and that he's now more stable.

The team added he's responding well and improving constantly, although he remains a long way from being fit and well.

The team has also thanked everyone for their messages of support for the two-time Lightweight TT winner following the collision.
