Emergency services deal with three-vehicle crash on Poortown Road
The emergency services attended a three-vehicle collision on the Poortown Road this morning.
The incident happened around 200m from Ballig Bridge shortly before 8am, resulting in the road being blocked for around two hours.
The fire service spent around 45 minutes at the scene, ensuring no-one was trapped and making the vehicles safe to be removed, while police spent almost two hours dealing at the site of the crash.
Those involved in the incident are believed to have sustained only minor injuries.
