Lintin shows positive signs following Southern 100 crash

The team of a rider injured at last week's Southern 100 says he has shown positive signs.

Ivan Lintin was left in a critical condition following the four-rider crash that also resulted in the death of James Cowton.

Dafabet Devitt Racing confirmed the team had been to visit Lintin in a Liverpool hospital on Sunday, and that there are positive signs.

His condition is still critical but is now also described as stable.

The team also passed on thanks from Lintin's family for the messages of support since the incident.

Southern 100 Racing has also confirmed Tom Robinson and Brian Fruidge are in a stable condition following separate incidents.
