Commissioner resigns in Port St Mary
A member of one of the Island's local authorities has resigned from his role.
Richard Ashcroft has announced that he is stepping down from Port St Mary Commissioners.
In a resignation letter, he cited increase pressure of business interests and potential new projects as reasons for his departure.
The board said he will be sorely missed, having been a valued member of the Commissioners for a number of years.
