TT course red flag procedure updated
The Clerk of the TT Course has changed red flag procedures after an incident between a rider and a course car earlier this week.
Steve Mercer was left in a critical but stable condition after colliding with a course car while riding back to the Grandstand following a red flag.
As a result of the incident, Gary Thompson has announced riders will not be able to move following a red flag incident until the course is clear, regardless of how long that may take.
Riders will only be able to move in course direction with travelling marshals at the front and rear.
