Crowdfunding page helps TT rider who had cash stolen

Almost £1,000 has been donated to help a TT rider who had a large sum of cash stolen while travelling to the Isle of Man.

Japanese rider Masayuki Yamanaka, who competes as a privateer, has the money stolen while on his way to Liverpool to catch the boat.

A crowdfunding page has been set up by Dawn Curry, whose holiday accommodation Yamanaka stays in while racing on the Island.

The page is aiming to raise money to help with living expenses for the rider and his team, who operate on a tight budget.
