Employment questions for Enterprise Minister

The Enterprise Minister will face a number of questions about employment on the Isle of Man at this month's sitting of Tynwald.

Onchan MHK Julie Edge will ask Laurence Skelly whether his Department's policy is not to issue a work permit if a suitably qualified Manx worker can be employed instead.

Meanwhile, Middle member Bill Shimmins is seeking an update on plans to increase the minimum wage.

Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas will also face a query about age discrimination and mandatory retirement ages.
