Chief Minister welcomes Beneficial Ownership review

The Chief Minister has welcomed the UK Government's review on Beneficial Ownership.

A statement was made in the House of Commons confirming the Isle of Man has cooperated during the review of the arrangements for sharing beneficial ownership information.

Howard Quayle travelled to London earlier this week to discuss the review after concerns were raised over a potential amendment which could have forced Crown Dependencies to have a public register of beneficial owners.

The Island has established a register of information on companies and legal entities which can be provided to law enforcement and tax authorities.
