Planning application submitting for advertisement hoarding at railway station

Planning permission is being sought to install a 3.5m high advertisement hoarding at Castletown Railway Station.

The Department of Infrastructure wants to build a replica of the old hoarding that used to run along the platform.

The structure would be almost 3.5m high and nearly 10m wide.

The DoI says the hoarding would recreate one of the period features of the railway and generate further revenue and advertising space for the railway.
