Coastguard helps paramedics reach injured person at Peel Castle
The Coastguard was called out in Peel to help a person who had broken their ankle inside Peel Castle.
Paramedics needed help reaching the casualty, who had fallen at the site yesterday afternoon.
Once stabilised, the crews were able to place the injured person in a rigid stretcher and carry them to the ambulance.
The coastguard team was able to return to the station by 1.30pm - an hour after being paged.
