South Quay fire extinguished
The fire at a building on South Quay has been extinguished.
Fire crews began tackling the flames this afternoon as black smoke issued from the building.
The police and fire service are scaling down their operations in the area, but some roads will remain closed while the scene is made safe and power restored to surrounding buildings.
The emergency services are thanking the public for their understanding while the area was sealed off.
