Police urge drivers to keep eyes on road

Police are warning of the risks of being distracted by passengers following a crash in the north of the Island.

The Roads Policing Unit was called to a head-on crash on the Andreas Road yesterday, which resulted in one vehicle ending up on its side.

Officers say the incident happened when one driver to their eyes off the road briefly to speak to his wife and child.

Police warn it only takes a second for things to can wrong when motorists look away from the road.
