Ice, coastal overtopping warnings from Met Office

Two weather warnings are in place on the Isle of Man today with ice and coastal overtopping expected.

The Island's Met Office issued a yellow warning for ice, particularly in areas over 500ft and sheltered from the wind.

The warning will remain in place until 7pm.

There's a separate warning for coastal overtopping as strong winds will result in waves coming onto exposed roads and promenades.

The conditions are expected to be worst shortly before midday and midnight, when it will be high tide.
