Steam Railway Opens Today (9th March)

The Steam Railway starts its Seasonal service today. Between now and Easter, the Railway will operate from Thursday to Sunday between Douglas and Port Erin in both directions.

Special trains include the Dining Car, and over Easter there will be four days of special events which will include the Electric Railway.

Railway Chiefs hope that 2018 will see an even bigger increase in passengers having enjoyed a 22% increase in 2017.
