£85,000 spent repairing potholes in last 18 months

Almost £85,000 has been spent fixing potholes on the Isle of Man in the last 18 months.

Between September 2016 and the end of last month, the Department of Infrastructure fixed 1876 potholes.

Repairing a single pothole costs around £45, giving a total repair bill of £84,420 over the last 18 months.

Potholes in need of attention are identified by the DoI's highway inspector or reported by the public.
