MHKs to consider Abortion Bill amendments today

The Abortion Reform Bill, residential fires and the Department of Health and Social Care's budget will all be discussed in today's sitting of the House of Keys.

A number of members have tabled amendments to the Abortion Reform Bill, which enters the consideration of clauses stage.

Health Minister David Ashford will be asked to explain how he plans to make savings, while Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey faces a question about the number of residential fires caused by domestic appliances.

Education Minister Graham Cregeen also faces queries about proposals to move St Thomas's School to Scoill Vallajellt's building.

The sitting gets underway at 10am.
