DoI spends over £160,000 on fire equipment

The Department of Infrastructure has spent over £160,000 on fire safety equipment over the last four years.

Around £44,000 has been used to fund items such as fire extinguishers, fire blankets and safety signage in each of the last three financial years.

Since the start of the 2017-18 financial year, fire equipment has cost almost £28,000.

The figures were revealed in response to a Freedom of Information request.
