Police urge public not to give personal details to cold callers
Police are urging local residents not to give their personal details or bank card information to cold callers.
The warning comes after the Isle of Man Constabulary received information about a company cold calling residents offering help to prevent further cold calls in the future.
The caller then asks to confirm details on the victim's bank card.
Officers are advising not to give details to any unknown person over the phone, no matter how believable they sound.
