Treasury urges Manx residents to return old-style UK £10 notes

Manx residents are being urged to return old-style UK £10 notes to their bank before the note is withdrawn from circulation.

The paper note with Charles Darwin on the reverse is being withdrawn on Thursday March 1st.

The Isle of Man Bank will continue to accept the discontinued notes after the deadline and return them to the UK, while some businesses may accept the notes at their discretion.

The move comes after the introduction of the polymer £10 note featuring a picture of Jane Austen in September last year.
