Mill reviewing future following departure of manager
Laxey Glen Mill is undertaking a review of the function and operation of the mill following the departure of the mill manager.
Sandra Donnelly is leaving the company after 17 years in charge of the mill, having decreased her hours over the last year.
The mill says declining market share means it now has to refocus its efforts, with the review period allowing it to make a new marketing plan and investment schedule.
The mill hopes it can continue to support the local cereal sector and baking industry in the future.
