Approval sought for glamping site in Glen Helen
Planning permission is being sought to demolish a pub in the west of the Island to build a glamping site.
The application states the Glen Helen Inn would be knocked down and replaced with glamping pods, a welcome centre and cafe.
The 12 pods would include a bedroom, kitchen and living facilities, a shower and decking, while the welcome centre would include a multi-function room.
The Glen Helen Inn has been closed for several years and is currently listed for sale, with an application for a residential development on the site rejected in 2014.
