Government spends £10.8m with sewer firm
A company that provides technology for sewer and water pipelines has been paid almost £10.8m by the Manx Government in the last 10 years.
Since the 2007-08 financial year, Government departments, statutory boards and offices have paid £10,796,717 to Insituform.
However, the Treasury warns to figures may not be complete as the Government's account system was rolled out between 2006 and 2008.
Manx Utilities also upgrading its software in 2012, meaning no data is available from before then, but the board has paid out almost £6.5m in the last five years.
The figures were revealed in response to a written question in this week's sitting of the House of Keys.
