Minister to explain drug and alcohol advisory service contract

The Island's Health Minister will face questions about the contract for the drug and alcohol advisory service.

Local charity Motiv8, formerly known as the Isle of Man Alcohol Advisory Service, currently provides advice on addiction and substance abuse on the Island.

Douglas North MHK David Ashford wants to know why the contract for the service is operated under a one-year rolling tender process.

Kate Beecroft will provide a response when the House of Keys sits on Tuesday.
