Restoring Island's reputation to be discussed in Tynwald

Restoring business confidence will be discussed in this month's sitting of Tynwald following the recent Paradise Papers coverage.

The Isle of Man was one of a number of oversees financial centres listed in the investigation, which exposed tax avoidance schemes and those who use them.

Middle MHK Bill Shimmins will ask Chief Minister Howard Quayle what actions he's taking to restore the Island's reputation following coverage of the papers, which included the BBC's Panorama special on the leaked data.

Mr Quayle gave an interview to the programme, which was broadcast last week.

Tynwald sits on Tuesday next week.
