DoI seeks public views on local authority changes

The Department of Infrastructure is seeking feedback from the public on plans to make changes to the Island's local authorities.

The Government wants to bring in a register of interests, make changes to boundaries and cover issues such as expenses and allowances.

The DoI hopes the proposed changes will make local authorities more transparent while improving the delivery of their services.

The full consultation document can be found on the Government's website, with responses being accepted until December 4th.
