Police urge motorists to check mirrors, blindspots
Police are urging motorists to look for other road users after a biker had to be airlifted to hospital.
The rider needed medical treatment after a car unexpectedly crossed his path on the Coast Road yesterday afternoon.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit want all road users, no matter what vehicle they're using, to search for other vehicles before manoeuvering.
The Constabulary are calling for drivers to check their mirrors and blindspots to avoid similar incidents.
