Commissioners seek views for means testing consultation

Onchan District Commissioners are asking for feedback on means testing.

The local authority is preparing its response to a Government consultation, and wants to know what those who live in the area think.

The Commissioners believe means testing will affect everyone in the Onchan community who use central and local Government services.

The board wants to hear from anyone who would like their views to be included in the Commissioners' submission by August 1, so the response can be finalised at next month's board meeting.

The Cabinet Office launched the consultation on high level policy for the means testing of Government services last month, and will continue to receive responses until August 18.

The full consultation documents can be found on the Government's website.
