Congestion and tidal conditions delay sailings

Some of today's sailings to and from the Isle of Man are delayed.

The Ben-my-Chree was late arriving in Douglas from Belfast this morning after getting caught up in congestion in Belfast Loch.

That delay meant the 8.45 departure to Heysham had to be put back to 11 due to the tidal conditions in the Lancashire port.

As a result, the 2.45 crossing to Douglas is delayed, although passengers are asked to check in as normal, while the 7.45 crossing back to Heysham is now expected to leave at around 8.30 this evening.
