Police warn against unacceptable anti-social behaviour

Police are warning anti-social behaviour by young people is in no way acceptable after dealing with a group of teenagers in the Douglas promenade area.

Officers say a small group of youngsters in their early teens have been in the area of the Sea Terminal, prom and Victoria Street for several nights.

Members of the Central Neighbourhood Policing Team dealt with the group last night, contacting their parents and guardians, and warn offences will be dealt with.

The police say their actions have caused upset for others who use the area, including motorists, cafe users and runners.
