Amber weather warning from Met Office

The Island's Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for the next three days.

Forecasters warn that strong winds will result in coastal overtopping and debris on roads in exposed areas from now until Friday evening.

Conditions are expected to be worst immediately before and after high tide, particularly at the north end of Douglas promenade and in Laxey.

The warning coincides with the arrival of Storm Doris in the British Isles, which is expected to cause widespread disruption.
