Newest school ready for official opening

The Island's newest school will be officially opened later today.

Henry Bloom Noble primary school welcomed pupils in September, but will have a formal ceremony to mark its opening this afternoon.

Minister for Education and Children Graham Cregeen will unveil a commemorative plaque, while guests will be given a tour of the facility.

The £9.5m school was built on the site of the old Noble's Hospital, replacing Ballacloan Infants and Fairfield Junior Schools.
