Delivery drivers urged to check insurance
The police are reminding anyone taking a job as a delivery driver to check their car insurance.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit revealed several people have been caught out on the Island recently.
Those affected were using their cars for business but weren't covered to do so on their insurance policy.
The police warn normal policies don't offer business cover as standard, so anyone delivering food or other goods using a private vehicle should check they have cover.
