Horse tram journey question for Infrastructure Minister

The Infrastructure Minister will be asked to provide details about horse tram journeys when the House of Keys sits tomorrow.

Almost 70,000 passengers used the Douglas Bay horse trams during the 2016 season, but Douglas North MHK David Ashford wants to know how many travelled the entire distance of the track.

The Minister will be asked to provide figures for the number of people starting and finishing their journeys at the Sea Terminal.

Ray Harmer's Department recently unveiled plans to reduce the length of the tram tracks as part of a proposed scheme for the reconstruction of Douglas promenade.
