Island to mark World Aids Day

Events will take place on the Island today to mark World Aids Day.

The occasion aims to raise awareness of Aids and HIV, as well as give support to those living with the condition.

The Manx Rainbow Association and Isle of Man HIV Support Group have organised several events, including a service at St Matthew's Church on North Quay in Douglas this evening.

There will also be an open day at the GUM clinic to allow people to learn about sexual health, while buildings around the Island will be lit red to show support for the day.
