Raw Sewage Leak - MUA say problem fixed but area remains closed.
Repairs to a broken sewer pipe on Ramsey Beach have been completed but the area remains closed.
The Manx Utilities Authority say that works were completed at 3.30am but they need to do quality checks to comply with Environmenta Protection Standards.
It was sealed off when a contractor caused damage to the pipe resulting in raw sewage being discharged on to the beach.
