MHK calls for older persons political post
An MHK will ask the Chief Minister to appoint a political member for the Island's older generation.
Onchan member Rob Callister wants the Government to consider picking a Tynwald member to be a Minister or Department Member for the elderly.
Callister is one of four members appointed to the Department of Health and Social Care, which is responsible for older persons services.
Howard Quayle will answer the question in next week's sitting of the House of Keys.
