Chief Minister to seek public feedback

The Chief Minister will seek feedback from the public after the new Council of Ministers identifies its priorities.

Howard Quayle appointed his eight Cabinet Ministers yesterday, which includes Alf Cannan taking charge of Treasury, while Laurence Skelly continues at Economic Development.

Mr Skelly and Education Minister Graham Cregeen are the only CoMin members to have held Ministerial posts previously, with Quayle describing his appointments as a "fresh start".

The Chief Minister plans to make a statement in next month's sitting of Tynwald to announce his Government's policy priorities.

Following his statement, Tynwald members, local businesses and the Manx public will all be invited to give feedback.
