Ex-service personnel represented in TV licence debate
Associations which represent ex-service personnel have met with government following the decision to scrap free TV licences.
Last week representatives from the Treasury and the Cabinet Office met with the groups to discuss government's decision to drop the concession.
The associations presented their case for the continuation of the free licence for those people on the Island who are aged 75 or over.
They've now agreed to provide input to an Issues and Options Paper which is being prepared for after the House of Keys General Election.
