Students praised for 'strong' GCSE results
GCSE students have been praised for a 'strong' set of results after wide ranging qualification change.
Yesterday more than 800 students received their results - the total number of entries was around 7,500.
The 16-year-olds sat exams in more than 50 subjects - with almost every student entered for maths, English and science.
