Top marks for students battling 'considerable adversity'

A class of A-level English students have been praised for their 'perseverance and resilience' after losing their teacher during their study. 
 
The full class managed to secure A* to C grades - their teacher had sadly died from cancer earlier in the year. 
 
The Department of Education and Children has been highlighting stories of achievement despite 'considerable adversity' after the results were released on Thursday.
