Prom application pulled as Minister denies money has been wasted

A planning application to transform Douglas Promenade has been pulled.
 
The Department of Infrastructure has withdrawn its application to reconstruct the highways and footpaths on Loch and Harris Promenade. 
 
It was originally submitted in April but was revoked this week following an amendment to the future length of the horse tram tracks which was agreed by Tynwald earlier this month. 
 
Minister Phil Gawne has said he hopes a new application will be 'in soon' - speaking in Tynwald last week he denied money had been wasted:
