Conservation concerns highlighted in Tynwald

Plans are in place to safeguard historic buildings on the Isle of Man - although the next government will have to progress them. 

 

That's the message from the Chief Minister - in Tynwald last week he was quizzed by Onchan MHK Peter Karran who claimed the system for registration should be independent.

 

The Council of Ministers has commissioned a full review of planning which looks at transparency, proportionality and public engagement.
