Sentence set for man caught with indecent images of children

A Douglas man will be sentenced in November after admitting making indecent images of children.

 

26-year-old Matthew Dadds appeared before the Court of General Gaol Delivery yesterday.

 

He'd previously pleaded guilty to 10 counts of making more than 60 photographs in June. 

 

Social enquiry reports have been requested before he's sentenced which will have input from the Mental Health Team and Motiv8; the court was also told Dadds was receiving help from the Samaritans. 

 

There was no application for bail and he was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until his sentencing hearing on November 1st.
